I am a South African singer/songwriter living between the US and South Africa.

Set on becoming a psychologist, I was surprised in my first year at university when I was inspired to write song lyrics sitting on Noordhoek beach on my twentieth birthday. It is the best gift I have ever been given, although very daunting and unexpected. 

I finally committed to living my dream as a result of losing my father unexpectedly in 1999. The shock of his loss left me searching for meaning and I found it in the form of an 800km solo walk across Spain to Santiago de Compestello. (see my website for a complete journal of 500miles across Spain)   

I  realized that if I can walk across a country then there isn't much I can't do. I have since then committed to sharing my songs with the world and to live my vision of paying forward my success to those who are less fortunate than I am.

So far the journey has been a blast and I am so grateful to so many people who have joined me as friends, family and fans.

I am looking for 5000 awesome people to buy a copy of my CD “Yet To Be” before I record to, to  help me raise the money I need. Future Owners will create the CD with me by voting for which of my songs I will record. 10.6% of every sale goes to 2 charities in South Africa. One to help http://www.powa.co.za/ with their work with victims of woman abuse, and the other that I have started to financially assist developing artist to LIVE THEIR DREAMS.
